Learn the art of natural dyeing with Violet, a natural dyer and artisan. In this workshop you will learn the process of dyeing natural fibers using plants, flowers, food waste, and all things from Mother Earth. Learning and working with each plant and seeing the colors and textures they produce will help you feel connected to the natural world.  Each student gets to dye and take home a silk bandana as well as a small silk square/handkerchief. 

All materials and plants provided. 

SDBG follows local safety and health guidelines, and supports staff and visitors who choose to wear masks as they prefer. 

Cost: Members $85, non-members $95. Class fees include Garden admission.
