Join Debby Dunn (Figoni) for part two of this fun and educational series to help you care for your water wise garden in a sustainable manner. Attendees will learn the best ways to irrigate their landscapes and how to deep water trees. Swales, dry stream beds and rain barrels will all be discussed. A few minutes will be given to the benefits of native and blooming plants before the half hour garden tour.
Debby is an enthusiastic advocate for the environment, with an extreme passion for educating people to use water efficiently. In her work as a Water Resources Specialist for San Diego County Water Authority, and in teaching water wise landscaping workshops for municipalities and garden groups throughout California, Debby has assisted over 12,000 residents and business owners to become more water wise and garden gorgeous. She is a Master Gardener and has created award winning landscapes that are attractive to people and wildlife. Debby brings her experience to audiences in a fun, easily relatable way, and empowers her students to use water wisely as they create and maintain their own landscapes.
Class will be 1.5 hours inside, followed by a half hour garden tour.
SDBG follows local safety and health guidelines, and supports staff and visitors who choose to wear masks as they prefer.
Cost: Members $12, non-members $18. Please note that each class of the series has its own fees and registration. Class fees include Garden admission.
