Monday, September 26, starting at 10 am. Free to members or with admission. Shorter (one hour) and longer (two hour) walks are available. Butterflies have taken wing at the San Diego Botanic Garden! Join us for Butterfly Walks to learn more about these beautiful insects and their close relationship with plants. By walking with us, you’ll also become a community scientist by helping us keep track of the types and abundance of butterflies in the Garden! Walks will be led by a Garden volunteer and joined regularly by butterfly expert Dr. Michael Perry from UC San Diego and members of his lab.
