SDBG’s Philanthropy Engagement Specialist is responsible for coordinating all donor-focused events, including our annual fundraising event, The Garden Party; managing annual giving vehicles and appeals, and working with our Communications team to promote these events, and create donor communications materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, outstanding writing and project management skills, a commitment to donor engagement, and an understanding of building, growing, and maintaining a donor pipeline. The Graphic Design and Digital Media Specialist is a forward-thinking, inquisitive, and energetic communications innovator who will help San Diego Botanic Garden attract new visitors and keep existing ones engaged across a variety of platforms. This position will focus on developing aesthetically engaging content for the Garden’s materials both online and on-grounds. The Membership Associate is responsible for entering memberships into the Garden’s enterprise software system. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of SDBG’s Membership Program. The ideal candidate has experience in and excels in CRM systems, accurate data entry and proofreading while delivering exceptional customer service to over 8,000-member households. The Membership Associate assists others in the use of the software programs for membership fulfillment. This position requires working occasional weekends and evenings and supports the Visitor Services functions of SDBG by occasionally flexing their schedule to work at the Welcome Center and events.
