While the Garden offers a variety of public tours, recognize there are those who would like a personal experience. Private tours are available for those that are interested in a tailored experience. Private tours must be booked two weeks in advance using our Adult Group Tours or School & Youth Group Tours request forms, below.

School & Youth Group Tours

Come join us at the Garden to explore, discover, play, and enjoy time in nature.

We offer School Programs and 1-Hour Guided Tours during the schoolyear. These activities are currently on break for summer. We also permit year-round Self-Guided Tours for youth and school groups.

School and youth group bookings are available on weekdays only, excluding Tuesdays. Please arrange bookings at least 30 days in advance via the request form below. We will confirm that we have educators and space available for the requested dates and respond to you as quickly as we can. Thank you!

Plant Adaptation

In-person, Grades 1-4
On summer break 2022; check back in the fall

Students will discover the different adaptations of plants in both the desert and rainforest habitats through a 1-hour guided exploration.

Virtual Tours


Is your group unable to come see the Garden in person? Come join us from the comfort of your home for a seasonal tour of our Garden. Each 1-hour Zoom tour includes an in-depth look at different gardens, as well as a live question and answer session with a knowledgeable Garden volunteer. Maximum 100 participants.

Cost: $55 members, $60 non-members
