How to Book Your Field Trip

Ready to explore? Our K-12 field trip season is from January to July 2026.

To reserve a field trip for your class or youth group, purchase an SDBG Field Trip Pass. Each pass is $250.00 and admits up to 30 students and 6 adults. Similar to General Admission, Field Trips are booked via our Programs Calendar! Find more registration details during the booking process.

Enrich your visit with the Botanic Explorers Series! Our Education Team has custom designed curricula based on grade level to help make our garden spaces your classroom. Investigate ideas, unlock concepts, and grow wisdom on topics like plant life, conservation, and more! Each Botanic Explorer Set:

  • Contains mindfulness prompts, fun facts, and hands-on activities.
  • Includes a Lead-Along booklet for chaperones and group leaders. 
  • Integrates with California Common Core, Next Generation Science Standards, and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
