2026 Fall Festival

Saturday October 17, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

 

Join us for a full day of autumn fun at our Fall Festival, a seasonal celebration for all ages! Spend the day on the Lawn Garden enjoying live music, bubbles, lawn games and more. Little ones can get creative with crafts and puzzles, while the whole family can join in a game of plant bingo. 

Grab a bite from the food truck, then settle in with a glass of wine or a special craft beer from our bar. Whether you’re here for the plants, the performances or just to soak up the festive fall vibes, there’s something for everyone!

Entry is included with General Admission to the Garden. SDBG Members are free.

Bubble Art

11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Join Encinitas bubble designer Alan Kler on the Lawn Garden for a whimsical spectacle of bubbles! Combining technical skill with a sense of wonder, Alan transforms bubbles into an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Plant Bingo

11 a.m. & 12 p.m.

We’re putting a botanical twist on this classic game with two special sessions of plant Bingo. Winners will take home a special plant from the Garden!

Puzzles & Lawn Games

11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Get creative with botanical-inspired crafts, including make-your-own bookmarks, then challenge your family to a puzzle or a friendly game of cornhole. Hula hoops and other lawn games will be set up to keep everyone moving and having fun!

Food & Drinks

11 a.m. – 3 p.m. 

Grab lunch from Surf Me A Taco food truck, serving up delicious tacos, quesadillas, desserts and more. Vegan and vegetarian options will be available!

Relax with a selection of red and white wines from the bar. We’ll also debut a special craft beer created in collaboration with our neighbors at Fox Point Brewing Co.. You’ll be among the first to taste this special brew made with fruit from the Garden—stay tuned for more details!

Yamaokas

1 – 3 p.m.

Take in live music from The Yamaokas, featuring husband-and-wife duo Jason and Korrie Yamaoka with the iconic Gazebo as their stage. Blending indie, folk and jazz influences, their performances pair heartfelt originals with fresh, imaginative takes on familiar songs.

Additional Kids Activities in Hamilton Children’s Garden

Little explorers can make their own adventure in Hamilton Children’s Garden! Climb Toni’s Tree House beneath a lush jungle canopy, explore the Incredible Edibles garden, splash in the Mountain Stream, and create music and art with natural materials.
