While the Garden offers a variety of public tours, recognize there are those who would like a personal experience. Private tours are available for those that are interested in a tailored experience. Private tours must be booked two weeks in advance using our Adult Group Tours or School & Youth Group Tours request forms, below.

School & Youth Groups

We are currently closed for school & youth group bookings for the 2024-2025 school year and summer of 2025. Please check back for updates once we open requests for school & youth groups during Fall 2025 through Summer 2026.

Resources for Self-Guided Explorations

Download the Scavenger Hunt or pick up the Botanic Explorers activity book at admissions to use during your visit to the Garden. Depending on staff and volunteer availability, join us Wednesday-Friday 10am-1pm for interactive Botanic Exploration stations around the Garden. Exploration areas and topics include the Bamboo Garden, Rainforest, California Gardenscapes, Pollinators, and more!
