This Valentine’s Day, join us for an enchanting evening of intimate live music, complimentary drinks, and celebration! Immerse yourself in the romantic beauty of our Conservatory while swaying to the soulful sounds of local musician Marelle. This year also marks a milestone anniversary for the Garden – raise a glass as we toast to love and 55 years of impact!

This event is for adults 21 and over. Please note that only the Conservatory will be open for this special evening event, other areas of the Garden will not be accessible.

Timing

Impress your Valentine with a unique pre- or post-dinner experience. Whether you stop by before your evening meal or after, choose from two seating options to perfectly complement your plans:

• 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Appetizers, complimentary drinks, and concert 

• 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Desserts, complimentary drinks, and concert 

Availability is limited to 50 couples maximum per seating time. Please purchase your tickets in advance to secure your spot. 

Guests may arrive at any time during their designated seating hours but must conclude their visit by the end of the allotted time to allow for the second seating to begin.

Tastes & Toasts

Depending on your seating option, you’ll be treated to a selection of savory appetizers or indulgent desserts. Appetizers feature a variety of hors d’oeuvres and a seasonal grazing table with an assortment of imported cheeses and charcuterie. Desserts will feature artisanally baked treats in a variety of rich classic and seasonal flavors.

The bar will include a variety of champagne, prosecco, red and white still wines, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options. All drinks are complimentary. 

Pricing Details

Tickets are sold per couple. Pricing is $95 per couple with Garden membership, or $105 without Garden membership. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Garden’s science, conservation, and education programs. 

Live Music from Marelle

Drawing inspiration from jazz and soul legends like Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, and Norah Jones, San Diego-based singer/songwriter Marelle has a captivating sound that is uniquely her own.

Together with pianist Brian Repec, the two musicians deliver an intimate, soulful experience, reimagining timeless love songs. Their thoughtfully curated set weaves together jazz, soul, and modern classics.

Special themed classes and workshops will be available at the Garden around Valentine’s Day weekend for additional ways to get you laughing and learning together, including:
