Learn the few key things to get your orchids to grow and bloom!
The orchid genus often sold in grocery stores “Phalaenopsis” are sturdy plants that will grow and bloom if you just get a few key things right! Class participants will walk away with a fresh new orchid and the steps to keep it thriving!
Join Debby Halliday, President of the San Diego County Orchid Society, as she shares her tips, tricks, and years of Phalaenopsis orchid growing experience with you. A grower of over 700 orchids herself, many of the amazing orchids in the World of Orchids show belong to her!
You will learn:
- How these orchids grow in nature, and what that tells you about how to successfully cultivate them in your home.
- All about orchid watering, light, temperature, blooming and re-blooming.
Class fee includes: class instruction, orchid to take home, and World of Orchid Combo Ticket (valued at $25) which includes full garden admission.
