Educator Programs

SDBG hosts the Food and Flower Happy Hour Teacher Resource Fair on Tuesday, October 4, from 4 to 6pm, in coordination with San Diego Ag in the Classroom. Teachers (K-12), administrators, educators and adult volunteers will learn how teaching agriculture enriches children’s educational experiences. School & Youth Group Tours

We offer School Programs and 1-Hour Guided Tours during the schoolyear. We also permit year-round Self-Guided Tours for youth and school groups. School and youth group bookings are available on weekdays only, excluding Tuesdays. Plant Adaptation

In-person, Grades 1-4
On summer break 2022; check back in the fall

Students will discover the different adaptations of plants in both the desert and rainforest habitats through a 1-hour guided exploration.
