What you need to know:
To help preserve the beauty of the Gardens please keep in mind the following:

  • The general area surrounding the ceremony sites is open to the public until 5:00 p.m. daily.
  • Rice, bird seed, confetti, balloons, and sparklers may not be used for any reason anywhere in the Garden.
  • SDBG is a non-smoking property.
  • We do not have facilities for inclement weather, tenting may be arranged by a rental company.

Admission and Parking
Rental fees include parking and admission to the Garden for the wedding party and guests during the day of the event.

Deposit to Hold a Date
A non-refundable $250 deposit and a signed contract reserve an available daytime ceremony location. A $500 deposit and a signed contract reserve an available daytime ceremony and reception location combination. A $1,000 deposit and a signed contract reserve an available evening ceremony and reception or reception only. The deposit is applied to your total rental cost. The balance of rental cost, including security deposit and insurance, if applicable, is due 90 days before the event date or at time of contract signing, if less than 90 days.

Security Deposit/Insurance
A $250 refundable security deposit is required for all ceremonies. A $500 refundable security deposit is required for all receptions and all evening weddings. Payments are due 3 months prior to the wedding date.

All deposits are non-refundable, cancellations made after the balance of rental cost are paid will be refunded as follows; after removing initial deposit from rental cost any monies already paid will be refunded in full if canceled before 31 days or more prior to event; 15-30 days 50% of those funds; 1-14 days no refund.
