As an SDBG Member, you will receive access to exclusive programs and events throughout the year! Programs are free to Members, offering unique ways to explore and learn about plants in the Garden, and build relationships within the SDBG Membership community.

Member-Only Mornings

Enjoy the tranquility of our gardens with special member-only hours! During these exclusive hours, you’ll have the opportunity to explore our lush landscapes and vibrant blooms without the usual crowds.

• Saturday, October 12 (8 – 10 a.m.): Save the date for a fun-filled morning exclusively for Members. From behind-the-scenes tours to special activities, we’ll be highlighting our favorite parts of the Garden.

Member Tours

Join an exclusive Member Tour! Led by our staff of experts, quarterly tours highlight a specific area of the Garden and are held on a Tuesday when the Garden is closed to the general public. Stay tuned for the next Member Tour!

 

Member Walking Group

Enjoy the Garden before it opens to the public! Stroll along pathways in the early morning, listen to the birds chirping, and beat the crowds to your favorite spot. The quarterly walk  meets the third Monday of the featured month. 

• Monday, September 16: Join us for September’s morning stroll from 8 – 9 a.m. We’ll choose a different path to experience all sights and sounds of early morning in the Garden, and get our fill of fresh air.  Walks will be on a combination of paved walkways and uneven paths. You are free to walk at your own pace or with the group at a slower pace. Registration is required.

Member Programs are subject to change due to Garden operations or weather related events. Programs will be updated on the website and registrations. Members will be notified in the event of any changes to a pre-registered program.
