Saturday May 25, 2 – 3:00 p.m.

Join Debby Halliday, President of the San Diego County Orchid Society, as she shares her tips, tricks, and years of Phalaenopsis orchid growing experience with you. A grower of over 700 orchids herself, many of the amazing orchids in the World of Orchids show belong to her!

In this class, Debby will provide the basics of how these orchids grow in nature, and what that tells you about how to successfully cultivate them in your home;  Watering, light, temperature, blooming and re-blooming will all be discussed.  She will also demonstrate repotting so you’ll learn what to do and when to do it. Phalaenopsis are sturdy plants that will grow and bloom for you if you just get a few key things right!
