Get hands-on and build your own beautiful Orchid Kokedama!
Kokedama is a traditional Japanese Living Art form where moss is used as a container for a plant. In this unique hands-on workshop, you will learn the skills behind Kokedama.
Workshop participants receive:
- Full questions and answers from a Kokedama expert about this Japanese art form.
- All of the supplies needed to make your unique Kokedama, including choice of orchid, moss, soil, and other needed materials.
- A unique, fun-to-make Kokedama that you can take home and enjoy, or give as a wonderful living gift.
Please bring your own apron and gloves.
Class fee includes: class instruction, materials for an orchid kokedama, and World of Orchid Combo Ticket (valued at $25) which includes full garden admission.
Class fee: Members $55, Non-members $60.
Please register by May 26. Due to the likelihood of selling out, we recommend purchasing your class sooner than later. If walk-ups are available on event day, this page will update.
