Join us at the Garden inside the Dickinson Family Conservatory for a special evening of cacao and sound healing in a loving community space on Thursday, June 6, 2024. On this 6/6 new moon portal, we’ll honor the energy of this gateway of surrender, nurturing and unconditional love in the flow of sacred rhythm and vibration.
Surrounded by plants and expansive night sky views inside the glass-encased conservatory, we’ll begin by serving a single-origin cacao sourced direct from Lake Atitlán, Guatemala to support in heart-opening during the sound journey. After a brief meditation to bring our collective awareness into presence, we’ll transition into a multidimensional sound journey guided by MULTIVER3E. This will be an experience intended to melt away the clutter of the thinking mind, drop you deeper into your heart space and ease you into a blissful state of being. You’ll enjoy the sound medicine of crystal and tibetan bowls, gongs, flute, handpan, chimes, drums and a variety of other instruments.
Please:
- Bring a yoga mat or cushion. This will be a seated (or laying down) floor show. Dress for warmth and comfort. Eye pillow or mask, blanket, pillow or any other items to maximize coziness recommended. Water suggested to stay hydrated. We encourage cuddling up with loved ones to enjoy this dreamy event together.
- Bring a mug or cup for your cacao **in order to promote sustainability.** In the event that you forget a vessel, we will have paper cups available. Communion Cacao will be selling blocks of cacao at the Garden if you’d like to take raw cacao home with you to continue your own practice with the sacred plant.
Class format: In-person, indoors. SDBG follows local safety and health guidelines, and supports staff and visitors who choose to wear masks as they prefer.
Cost: Members $45, non-members $50. Class fees include admission to Dickinson Family Education Conservatory only.
