Online Ticketing and Reserved Entry Time

Reservations are strongly recommended as it expedites your entry into the Garden. Walk-in admission on high-volume days may be subject to wait times. The Garden does not process cash transactions.

Ticket times indicate your estimated arrival time. Guests are free to remain until closing time upon entering.

For quick entry, show your mobile or printed ticket at the Welcome Center. You may leave and return on the same day by receiving a re-entry stamp at our Welcome Center.

Members receive free admission. Please make your member reservation and have your membership card and ID ready to show at the Welcome Center. Reservations are not required for Member Guest Tickets, AHS reciprocal members and Museums For All admissions. These admissions can only be redeemed in person at our Welcome Center.   

Please note: The Garden is closed on Tuesdays.

Specials

Through the Museums for All program, visitors who receive food assistance can gain reduced admission to SDBG. The Museums for All rate of $1 per person will apply to any bearer of a state-issued SNAP EBT card or Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) card with valid photo ID. Advance online reservations are not necessary for Museums for All tickets. Admission must be purchased in person at the Garden on the day of entry by presenting a SNAP EBT or WIC card and ID. The rate of $1 is applicable for daytime admission only and will apply to a maximum of four individuals. Please be prepared to pay credit or debit cards. The Garden does not process cash transactions.

 

 

 

Explore the fun during San Diego Museum Month with 50% off admission from February 1-28. During the month of February, the San Diego Museum Council is making it easy to visit your favorites by offering half-price admission to over 70+ local museums, including SDBG. Simply pick up a pass at any public library in San Diego County or download the digital pass. Walk-up admission only for up to four half priced tickets. Show your digital or physical pass at the admission window. Cannot be combined with other offers, coupons or discounts.

 

 

 

 

Donation Requests

San Diego Botanic Garden is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports other San Diego-based non-profits in their fundraising efforts when possible through in-kind donations of admission tickets. Up to four (4) Guest Tickets may be requested for fundraising events. Requests must be submitted at least 6 weeks prior to the scheduled event. SDBG honors one request per organization per calendar year, and all requests must come from an organization with an active nonprofit Tax ID. Please complete the request form below. We review donations requests on a monthly basis, and notifications go out on the last week of each month.

Classes & Public Event Tickets

Special tickets are required to attend classes, public events, many tours, and other unique activities. These events and classes may have special pricing, special hours, and/or other special requirements.
