2026 Summer Nights

Thursdays, June 25 – August 6

4 – 8 p.m.

Spend your summer evenings surrounded by music, blooms, and golden hour with the return of Summer Nights! This popular outdoor concert series transforms the Gazebo Lawn into a lively gathering place filled with live performances, beautiful scenery, and laid-back summer fun. From the twang and two-stepping of Country Night to the rad retro vibes of 80s Night, each concert features a themed experience. Concerts begin at 5:30 p.m., with live music continuing through 7:15 p.m.

Pack a picnic blanket, enjoy a drink, and relax on the Lawn as the Garden comes alive with the sounds of summer!

Survivor Tree Ceremony

This season also includes meaningful moments of reflection. On August 6, during the final Summer Nights of the season, we will host our annual Survivor Tree Ceremony, honoring resilience through a living legacy that connects our Garden to a global story of peace. Descended from a mother tree that survived the atomic bombing of Hiroshima over 80 years ago, we commemorate a special ginkgo that was planted at San Diego Botanic Garden in 2023.
